About Mile 17
Mile 17 is the point in a marathon when the race starts to change. Early momentum fades, each step gets harder, and the runners who have trained, paced, and planned well begin to find another gear.
That mindset shapes my approach. I help mission-driven teams build learning programs and operational systems that can keep going when the challenges get more complex and the demands increase.
I’m Jared Marling, a training and program operations leader with more than a decade of experience building large-scale learning programs across nonprofit, humanitarian, and social impact organizations. I’ve managed multilingual leadership programs, cohort-based learning experiences, high-volume application processes, webinar and LMS systems, training calendars, and cross-functional program operations.
